She is a licensed acupuncture physician, a licensed medical aesthetician, and a Doctor of Acupuncture. She teaches the discipline she practiced into being — areola restoration after mastectomy, scar camouflage, stretchmark restoration, inkless techniques — and she assesses the practitioners who will carry it forward.

Dr. Rusnak teaches at the Academy's clinical home — Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in Kissimmee (Greater Orlando area) — and at certification programs hosted in San Diego, New York, Houston, and Las Vegas throughout the year.
