The Academy
Dr. Rusnak Academy is the credentialing authority in paramedical tattooing. Founded by Dr. Cecilia Rusnak — Master Trainer, licensed acupuncture physician — the Academy is the institution where practitioners are trained, examined, and credentialed in the discipline of restorative tattoo work.
Paramedical tattooing — practiced in clinics, hospitals, and restorative settings — has lacked a credentialing body of its own. Not an industry association. Not a continuing-education provider. A formal Academy: one that defines the standard, examines candidates against it, and awards a credential that means something.
The Academy does not teach a trade. It establishes a standard, certifies those who meet it, and convenes the community of practitioners who carry it forward.

Three decades of clinical work. The Academy is the institutional form of what she has spent a career building.
She is a licensed acupuncture physician, a licensed medical aesthetician, and a Doctor of Acupuncture. She teaches the discipline she practiced into being — areola restoration after mastectomy, scar camouflage, stretchmark restoration, inkless techniques — and she examines the practitioners who will carry it forward.

Dr. Rusnak teaches at the Academy's clinical home — Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in Kissimmee (Greater Orlando area) — and at certification programs hosted in San Diego, New York, Houston, and Las Vegas throughout the year.
