Welcome to Dr. Rusnak Academy. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services or enrolling in a program.

1. Introduction and Agreement

Dr. Rusnak Academy (“Dr. Rusnak Academy,” “the Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and provides paramedical training, credentialing, and certification programs, including its sister-brand online programs offered under Paramedical Artists Academy. By enrolling in a program or using our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not access our website or services.

Dr. Rusnak Academy operates independently but is under shared ownership with Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics LLC, AcuMedGroup LLC, and Dr. Rusnak Wellness LLC, which may share limited information under HIPAA-compliant and confidentiality protocols for scheduling, education, or program-related purposes.

2. Services Provided

Dr. Rusnak Academy provides paramedical training, credentialing, and educational services, including but not limited to:

• Paramedical tattoo certification programs
• 3D areola masterclass training
• Paramedical billing and practice compliance training
• Powder Botox certification
• Online programs delivered under our Paramedical Artists Academy sister brand
• Continuing professional education

Disclaimer: All services are intended for professional educational purposes. Individual results vary, and no guarantee of outcome is made. Certification programs do not grant medical licensure and are for professional education only. The Academy’s credentials are professional certifications, not state licensure or authorization to practice; students are responsible for verifying and obtaining any state, local, or federal license, registration, or other authorization required to practice in their jurisdiction.

3. Student Eligibility and Responsibilities

Students must be 18 years or older or have verifiable guardian consent. By enrolling, you confirm compliance with this requirement.

Students are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the candidacy process and enrollment. Misrepresentation or omission releases Dr. Rusnak Academy from liability for outcomes, reactions, or program denial.

Students must follow all pre- and post-program instructions provided to optimize learning outcomes and clinical safety. Dr. Rusnak Academy is not liable for any outcomes resulting from non-compliance.

Media Consent: By enrolling in a program, students authorize the limited use of de-identified before-and-after photographs or videos taken during training for educational or marketing purposes unless written notice to opt out is provided.

4. Enrollment, Payments, and Cancellations

Enrollment: Programs may be enrolled in online, by phone, or in person following a candidacy conversation.

Payment: Dr. Rusnak Academy accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, financing through Affirm, Klarna, or Cherry, and cash. Payment or deposit is required to confirm your enrollment.

Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred once to a future date or program within 12 months of the original enrollment.

Training and Certification Programs: Deposits and tuition for certification programs are non-refundable but fully transferable to other available program dates or programs within one year of original enrollment.

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the scheduled program start date to receive credit toward a future program. Late cancellations or no-shows are subject to a forfeiture of deposit, with the remaining tuition transferable within one year at the Academy’s discretion.

Payment Authorization: By providing a payment method, you authorize Dr. Rusnak Academy to charge for agreed-upon programs and related fees. Authorized charges may not be disputed with your financial institution unless fraudulent.

A2P/TCPA Compliance: By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive operational SMS/MMS messages (enrollment confirmations, reminders, or program updates). Marketing texts are sent only with separate opt-in consent. All messages include “STOP” to unsubscribe and “HELP” for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.

5. Educational and Professional Disclaimers

Dr. Rusnak Academy’s services are educational in nature and are not substitutes for state licensure or professional medical authorization. Training and certification programs are for professional education and credentialing purposes only. The Academy does not diagnose or treat medical conditions, and certification does not grant the right to practice medicine.

Students must disclose all medical conditions, allergies, and medications before participating in any hands-on training. Dr. Rusnak Academy is not responsible for adverse reactions due to undisclosed information or failure to follow pre/post-training instructions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Rusnak Academy, its owners, affiliates, instructors, and employees shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from services, training, or certification. Subjective dissatisfaction with results, certification outcomes, or business outcomes following training is not grounds for refund or liability.

7. Intellectual Property and Training Materials

All logos, images, text, and content on the Dr. Rusnak Academy website, the Paramedical Artists Academy website, and all educational course materials, are the property of Dr. Rusnak Academy and its affiliates. Students may not record, reproduce, or distribute any materials without prior written authorization.

8. Privacy and HIPAA Compliance

Dr. Rusnak Academy collects and processes information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at drrusnakacademy.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you consent to the handling of your personal information under HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and TCPA standards.

9. Non-Disparagement and Social Media Policy

Students agree to communicate respectfully in all online or public discussions involving Dr. Rusnak Academy, its staff, or affiliates. False or defamatory statements that harm the institution’s reputation may result in legal action.

10. Media and Recording Policy

Students consent to limited photography or video capture during training for educational, quality assurance, or promotional purposes, unless written notice to opt out is provided.

11. Modifications to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our services, pricing, or these terms at our discretion and without prior notice. Any modifications to these terms will be posted on our website. Students are responsible for reviewing the terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

12. Governing Law and Binding Arbitration

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Osceola County, Florida. You waive the right to a jury trial and agree to arbitration as the exclusive method of resolution.

Class or collective actions are not permitted. Arbitration shall be conducted individually.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr. Rusnak Academy, its owners, affiliates (including Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics LLC, AcuMedGroup LLC, Dr. Rusnak Wellness LLC, and Paramedical Artists Academy), employees, and instructors from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of services, participation in training, or violation of these Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision will be severed from the terms, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
