Enrollment at Dr. Rusnak Academy begins with a candidacy conversation, not a checkout cart. The Academy is selective. Every candidate studies the manual and is quizzed before class; credentials are awarded on completion of the training. Here is what the path looks like.

The Path

Five steps from inquiry to credential.

Inquiry

You contact the Academy by phone, email, or the inquiry form. We respond within one business day. The Academy does not run a high-volume enrollment funnel. Each inquiry is reviewed individually by a member of the staff, and you will speak with the same person throughout the candidacy process.

Candidacy Conversation

The first substantive step is a scheduled call — typically 30 to 45 minutes — in which we learn about your training, your clinical context, the practice you are building, and which credential is the right fit. You ask questions about the program, the curriculum, the schedule, and the investment.

The call is not a sales pitch. It is the moment where we determine whether the Academy is the right fit for your practice, and you determine whether you want to train under Dr. Rusnak. Either side can decline.

Acceptance & Enrollment

If both sides agree the Academy is the right fit, you receive an acceptance letter and the enrollment paperwork. Tuition is paid in full, on an approved payment plan, or through Affirm, Klarna, or Cherry financing for qualifying candidates. Your seat in the cohort is confirmed once payment terms are arranged. Class size is capped at 10 students per program to allow direct instruction and supervised practice on live cases.

The Program

The curriculum runs across multiple days of in-person training at Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in the Greater Orlando area or at the hosted programs in New York, Houston, and Las Vegas (or, for the billing program, as an online cohort). Each day combines classroom instruction, demonstrated technique, and supervised hands-on practice on volunteer models. Materials are provided. Practice models are arranged. You bring yourself, your existing equipment if you have it, and the willingness to be corrected in the room.

Assessment & Credential

Before class, every candidate studies the manual and is quizzed on it — in the room, technique is practiced on live models or live cases under direct supervision, and the credential is awarded upon completion of the training. Candidates who meet the standard receive the Certificate of Advanced Professional Training, signed by Dr. Cecilia Rusnak.

Candidates who do not meet the standard are not failed. They are invited to continue training until they meet it. The credential exists because the standard is upheld.

Eligibility Who the Academy is for.

Each credential has its own eligibility framework, defined during the candidacy conversation. The Academy is broadly open to:

Licensed estheticians, medical aestheticians, and cosmetologists expanding into paramedical practice
Tattoo artists with existing licensure who want formal paramedical credentialing
Nurses, paramedical assistants, and clinical staff in plastic-surgery or oncology contexts
Physicians and physician extenders adding restorative tattooing to their practice scope
Practitioners who have completed informal paramedical training and want a credentialing body to certify their work

The 3D Areola Masterclass and the Mastering Paramedical Billing program have prerequisites — either prior paramedical training, prior practice experience, or completion of the foundation credential. The candidacy conversation determines fit. The Academy reserves the right to decline enrollment when the program is not the right fit for a candidate. This is not a punitive policy. It is the same standard a clinical-doctorate program would apply: we will not credential a practitioner whose existing foundation is too limited for the program to add meaningful value.

Foundation Paramedical Tattoo Certification In-person · Orlando, New York, Houston, Las Vegas

The foundation credential. Three-day intensive (one online theory day, two in-person days) with live-model practice; kit and lifetime mentorship included. Tuition $5,900 · $1,000 deposit due at enrollment.

The Academy’s signature credential in restorative areola work. Prerequisite training required. Tuition $3,999 · $500 deposit due at enrollment.

Program Details Practice Mastering Paramedical Billing Online cohort

The business and compliance credential. Tuition $997 for the Founders Round; $1,997 standard tuition after the Founders Round.

Founders Round Complementary Powder Botox Masterclass One-day · Greater Orlando, FL

Topical Powder Botox certification. Includes starter kit and materials. Tuition $2,350 · $500 deposit due at enrollment; self-paced online certification $997.

Program Details

Financing

Financing is available via Affirm, Klarna, and Cherry, subject to approval. Cherry is not available in AL, GA, HI, LA, MD, ND, or NV; students in those states should use Klarna or Affirm. Rates range from 0% to 36% APR with terms from 3 to 60 months depending on provider and credit. Example: $5,900 at 0% APR over 12 months is approximately $492 per month, total $5,900. Terms are set by the provider, not the Academy. Tuition payment plans can also be arranged directly with the Academy. Deposits are non-refundable but transferable. The remaining tuition balance is due one week before the program start date.
